Comments: I just received my new Ultimate Ears Super FI 3 earphones and I am blown away with the sound quality! I"ve been a musician for over 24 years( I play drums & guitar) and I was looking for something that could replace my bulky Metrophones drummer's isolation headphones and something that would be good for monitoring my guitar sound when on stage. The Super FI 3's fit the bill. These monitors sound just like a good set of headphones would sound. No they don't move as much air as my headphones, but they do sound as good. I had no issues getting the proper fit right out of the box. The medium tips that were on the monitors were a perfect fit for me. I do wish that more foam tips were included though. Thumbs up to Ultimate Ears for the memory wire that goes over your ears! I love how they can be bent to conform to your ear and keep the monitors from coming off. Back to the sound quality. The sound is very full and rich, with nice tones across the spectrum. People that have written reviews saying that these don't have enough bass must like that window rattling low end that's produced when those cars with giant stereo systems drive by your house.The Super FI 3's produce low end as it really should sound. My only complaint is that the cord could be longer. I think that the Super FI 3"s offer professional sound and a great value for working musicians and music lovers.
