These are not correct replacement nozzles for E4s. These fit, but they are much longer.

Not sure why, but these are much longer than the E4 nozzles. They are made of a different grade plastic, and distort the sound in a weird way. Not sure where the confusion is, I have E3c and E4c earphones, and neither use this nozzle.
That said - there is an improvement - a rib on the nozzle mates with a corresponding groove in the silicone tips which keeps them from coming off in your ear. I had this happen on a 4-hour bike race last year, and it was very painful.
