These were my first pair of high-end Shures, I've had a couple of them (Shure) but only single driver models. This is something completely different. My best purchase in a long time. Instead of buying several $150-200 earphones with which I'm not really satisfied - these actually saves me money!

I have tried (bought) a lot of models, from in-ear to on/over-ear, the latest were a pair of Bose QuietComfort 15 which are great but they are tiresome to wear after an hour or so. You will not even notice the SE535 after a couple of minutes, they fit perfectly in your ear. It takes some experimenting to get a good fit but it is well worth it.

These babies can produce some really amazing sound if fed the right combination of quality and player abilities.

The only downside was the iPhone cable which feels inferior to the default, included, cable. It does not have the same quality. The thin cables which are supposed to go behind your ear does not stay in place if you are moving (walking).

Cable management and the ability to change cables is really good. Instead of just throwing your $500 worth of earphones into the thrash, it is dead simple to just detach and connect a new cable.

I would order a new pair if these were misplaced, stolen or lost. My best earphones so far.

Outstanding sound,5/5 rating, as I was listening to sermon by Joseph Prince. It felt like I was taking there immediately. Outstanding bass too, mid was perfect, high was excellent. I will recommend this to anyone. This is the best sound and better than my previous se530pth. As when I use my se530 yesterday before I got the se535, thought it was the king already. But when I decided to buy the se535 and put it on and listen, it is the king now. Woah...Buy this earphone and forget about Bose, IE8 or Westone 4 or Bang & Olufsen A8 or anything else.

I bought a pair and I felt guilty after I got used to place them in my ear properly I was blown away. The bass is great mids, and highs are just right.
