Comments:Lost my first pair. Looked to see if there was something better for similar price (or more), or something near as good for much less.I could not find anything that seemed better so I purchased these again. Again, I am not disappointed. These fit and sound great. Very well balanced to my ears. Isolation level is just right, allowing me to hear nuance in music in in somewhat noisy environments. Great, natural sounding and comfortable earphones. Period. |

Comments:UE may not have the best build quality and because of that I was interested in the SE530... that is until i listened to them side by side.Test was on an Iriver H340 - yes it still works... through a Total Bithead with the "expander" switch on. I was listening to the Grateful Dead - pristine sound board downloaded at 256kps. Eyes of the World off of Dick's Picks 5-22-77 Pem. Pines, Fla Right off - the SE's high end sounded too bright, almost brassy - it was like a high end slider on an equalizer was all the way up as opposed to flat with all the other frequencies. The next thing I noticed was the bass - it was thumping as opposed to articulate. One of the reasons I so like listening to the Dead is the way Phil works the bass - very subtle and melodic. The SE's did not give you the tone on the notes he was playing - like slurring vs articulation. I just couldn't "see" the bass being played with the SE's. After a few more back and forths between the SE's and the UE's the only other thing I would say is that the UE's put out a much warmer sound, but were still absolutely crisp - you could hear all the nuances. I then listened to some Janos Starker playing Bach solo on a cello - the UE's, for some reason really create a "visualization" with their sound - SEs just don't. The SEs sound good - no doubt, but the UEs sound better. thanks, db |

Comments:I own a few 'lower' end earphones from Sony, UE & Shure. When I had the oportunity to choose a high end earphone as a xmas gift I opted for the SE530 based on my experience with comfort and cabling on my set of older E3Cs. I'm glad I did! These earphones, although not fully broken in yet, deliver on all counts when it comes to comfort and sound. Every detail and nuance of 320kbps MP3 files played back on a Zune 80 can be discerned compared to my Super.fi 5 Pro IEMs. I acctually thought I was listening to a different version of the same song when heard through the SE530! These are astounding. The only drawback I've found is the tightness of the foam tips that were pre-installed on the buds. I actually damaged one of the sleeves during removal which took about 30 minutes of twisting and pulling. Shure should either provide slightly looser sleeves or not pre-install any tips on the buds in the package. And according to the great person that ordered this fantastic gift for me the transaction with Earphone Solutions went smoothly and delivery was quick, about 6 days to Canada. So in short, Shure + Earphone Solutions = A winning combination. |

Comments:This is my third pair of shures - I upgraded my set gradually to these SE530's. Sound quality is amazing - the best I have ever heard through earbuds.I wouldn't say they're worth every dollar I paid for them, but I am quite sure this is as good as it gets. There are however more affordable options that give you more bang for the buck. |

Comments:I was hoping these earphones would provide better sound isolation and comfort as compared to myE4C's. The difference is that and more. The depth of the base, clarity and detail of sound is remarkable. I am very pleased with the foam earpieces and have used them for several hours without soreness. Very satisfied overall. |

Comments:Excellent full rich and deep sound. Sounds like a $5,000 stereo system in your head. Responds very well to EQ so can be set to just about anyone's personal preferences. Great detail in low/midrange with silky crisp highs. Punchy bass and massive impact but not overpowering. Just very controlled and realistic. |

Comments:I’ve had these now for about two weeks and absolutely adore them! What can I say that hasn’t been said already other than they sound unbelievably incredible. Punchy bass, flawless midrange, and superb highs. I use these with my iPhone and they work great. Granted, I have to use the adapter made by Belkin, but despite it’s size, it’s not as annoying as I thought it would be.Overall, its money well spent. True 450 bucks is a lot for these, but considering the sound these suckers generate and the listening enjoyment they’ll give you its well worth it. Simply put, they’re so good, it’s like listening to your music all over again for the first time. By the way, I’d like to thank Earphone Solutions for their great website, excellent customer support, and most importantly GREAT PRICES!!!!! I wish there were more companies on the internet like Earphone Solutions. Thank you so much! Keep up the good work guys. |

Comments:The best earphones I've ever heard. Listened to several offerings from Shure, Ultimate Ears, Sennheiser, and M-audio, but these are by far the best. Perfect balance but not flat or boring. Amazing sound signature. Just as soon as you think they are perfectly balanced they come out and sound very vivid and exciting, but they are never harsh. Wonderful no-compromise. Full warmth and balance and yet vivid live and crunchy tones as well. Excellent bass and crisp highs. These things both rumble and sparkle, and sometimes simultaneously. Worth every penny if you're into your music. |

Comments:Amazed by the 530s when compared to the SE310 ans Westone UM2s. I use my 10mW players as a reference to determine efficiency... these SE530s are by far the most efficient IEMs I've ever heard.SQ is amazing at first glance, but they've yet to receive a proper burn-in. The top does seem slightly rolled off, but it may be my EQ settings. Off the bat, they sound better than anything I've owned; E4s, UM2s, Superfi. Amazing! |

Comments:THE BEST. I have listened to the UE Triple Fi 10 and I like these better. The mids are perfect. Absolutely perfect. The highs are slightly rolled off, but it's the most balanced sound that I've ever heard in an earphone. Do everything in your capacity to obtain these suckers! |
