The SE210 is a great set of earphones. I've tried many headphones/earphones and these are by far the best! These are superior to the often over popular Bose heaphones. The sound isolation is incredible and with that fact I'm purchasing the push to hear accessory because I cant hear anyone talk to me. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 star is because the more expensive SE models are what deserve that. GET THESE!"

The SE210 earphones are best for those looking for comfort and very good detail on mids and highs. The bass is tighter than the Shure "E" series so you will get more definition on the low end of the frequency range but it may also sound like "less bass" when playing heavier bass songs.

Comfort: EXCELLENT - Very well done design. If it weren't for the fact that the SE210 are slightly bigger than the more expensive earphones, the fit and comfort would be about the same as the top of the line SE530.

Love Them

I am an earphone/headphone junkie. My standard headphones for home listening are the Grado RS-1's. The Shure SE210's are great for i-pod listening, the sound to me is balanced and the bass is accurate.

Pros:

Good sound
comfortable
affordable

Cons:

Attached cord could be a few inches longer.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Comfort and great sound!

I don't know about you, but I have a really difficult time finding headphones that are both comfortable and provide the sound quality that I am looking for....until now. These Shure SE210 earbud style "speakers" are nothing short of amazing in my book. I have experimented with all of the fit pieces included in the box and have found the compressible foam buds the most comfortable for me. Unlike other in-ear headphones, the SE210's stay in place and do a fantastic job of eliminating outside noise. The also do not hurt your ears - I have found that after 15 mins of wear other earbuds caused a pretty bad earache. I can wear these babies for extended periods of time without any pain.

The sound quality produced by these headphones is great - the term "in-ear speaker" is spot on, because the music you are hearing is as close to that coming out of a quality speaker as you can get.

The bang for the buck is unsurpassed for the Shure SE210.

Pros:

Comfort - variety of bud sizes and materials pretty much ensures you will find something that works for you

Sound - second to none

Excellent sound isolation - you will save your hearing because you don't need to crank up the volume

Carry case - small, hard shell, can hold accessories

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Horrendous sound quality for the money!

I read lots of good things about Shure all over the Internet, how the professionals use their products, blah, blah, blah.

Maybe if one spends several hundred dollars for their higher-end stuff, who knows. However, these SE210 earphones are worthless. I have a pair of Creative earphones (EP-830) that retail for $50.00, and those are far superior to these Shure ones that are on sale at Earphone Solutions for about $150.00.

I tried the Shure phones on both my high-end Creative ZEN X-Fi player and my Zune 120. Had to turn off the EQ on my Creative to even get an adequate sound for music, but it still was very bad.

When I tried to listen to audio books from Audible with the new "enhance audio" file, I heard a terrible echo. Also, these phones have a tendency to make noise when the cord moves on my shirt, etc.

In order not to lose $25.00 for restocking and a $7.50 charge for what was free shipping (with Earphone Solutions), all I can do is exchange them for a comparable model and then hope I get my price on eBay for them!

I just learned that lots of folks are buying portable amplifiers (like Total Airhead) for about $100, but why should one have to have additional equipment when Shure raves so much about how great their product is?
