Comments:I was using the original E1's from my days playing in a band and decided it was time for an upgrade. I researched just about every earphone out there without paying to much attention to the cost and decided that since I have always had luck with Shure products that was what I chose. These earphones are the real deal. The sound is absolutely amazing. My car I thought had a great system but after using th SE530's on vacation I thought something was wrong with my cars system. With the triple drivers you hear everything the way it is meant to be heard.FIVE STARS PLUS. |

Comments:All that I have to say is that the dynamic response of the 530's is drastic enough of an improvement to make you want to revisit all of your music to hear what you have been missing! |

Comments:These are great quality sounding headphones. But I find them a little less comfortable than the scl5 due the lack of the stiffening wire in the cord near the earpiece. The stiffening wire of the scl5 allows a little space to be left around the top of the ear so the cord doesn't press against the ear so much. |

Comments:I've tried most of the top brands and models now and found these to be amazing as far as quality of sound.I don't thin the PTH unit is of any value whatsoever. The unit is to bulky to carry easily, and I find it just as easy to remove one bud to hear someone than carrying the PTH unit for such a small "convenience". I would rate these much better than the Westones that I used before these. |

Comments:There are several things that determine the quality of these headphones. The equipment thru which you are listening, the quality of the recording, and the quality of your ears (if you have ANY hearing loss). No matter how great and perfect the headphones are, the music won't sound good if one of the above is off. If all of the above listed items are great, these headphones are as well. Fantastic sound with a good player, good ears, and a great recording... I highly recommend them. |

Comments:While traveling I have used since their introduction the Bose around ear headsets and just recently decided to purchase the Shure SE530-PTH headset.. There was no comparison in regards to the fidelity and quality... The Shure beat the Bose on all counts especially comfort...On this first trip, I switched between the Bose and the Sure many times to compare them, and found little difference with regards aircraft noise.. On both, I felt the engines of the 747 coming through my body, and not through the headsets. The real difference was comparing a variety of music from Jazz, Opera, to Salsa with each headset. The Shure beat out the Bose in brightness and reality of sound at one level, and another just the shear magnificence of sound. I still have to adjust the in ear fit of the Shure, but the comfort level after 16 hours on planes was great!! Also, the in-flight movie was a great listening experience. I also did a short comparison to the Bose in-ear set, and there was not comparison. The Bose in-ear was uncomfortable, kept falling out of my one ear or another, and the noise from the aircraft was nearly unbearable. I highly recommend the Shure 530-PTH for air travel and as for normal use, they are unbeatable. Upon seeing the users of the Bose headsets in the aircraft, I could not help feeling that they were using antiquated equipment. |

Comments:I bought mine after seeing all of the great reviews here and at other sites. I enjoy good music with my Ipod while working around the house and exercising. When they got here and I heard them, I was just blown away at the sound quality. So then my wife, who owns Bose, Sennheiser and Sony headphones put these on...and wouldn't give em back to me. Like the reviewer above, she is very hard to please also. And she loves em. So I bought her a pair also. She says that they are the best gift anyone has ever given her. TRUE STORY! And Shure honors their 2 yr warranty, no questions asked. Both pairs have had to go back in the past 3 mos. Repair?? Nope. New pair 5 days later. What else can you ask?? Just buy em. You won't regret it. |

Comments:I got in to an adventure looking for a noise canceling headphones for my Mp3 player. I met several items on the way, saw some great products. I bought one of greatest products of o good brand. It was an in-ear earphone. I said "WOW, this product is awesome!!!!" Then time went by and i realised that for that price i wasn't getting a high performance from it. Then i saw SE530-PTH. I looked at the item and investigated it very carefully for days. I gave a green light to SE530-PTH and wanted to give it a try at least. When i tried the item, I hated the day i entered www.earphonesolutions.com. I hated SE530-PTH the most. Because now i have to listen to my music archive all over again (about 40.000 Songs), and now i am listening my 40.000 song archive as if i never had those songs Because they sound different, better, best ever. Damn you SE530-PTH. You are PERFECT...!!! |

Comments:Letâs face it, if youâre considering spending around 500 bucks on a pair of earphones youâre someone whoâs obsessive about their music. Youâre the hard to please type not easily impressed by anything less than seriously impressive. Well, be assured that these tiny miracles of science are indeed impressive, seriously. The most notable feature of the Shure SE530s is their ability to convey a multi-layered sound stage with absolute precision. Music youâve heard over and over again takes on new life with an incredible sense of clarity that is always lucid and rich and never confused or entangled no matter what you throw at them. Where they really shine, though, is with lossless or uncompressed digital recordings or mp3s with a high compression rate. With recordings of this quality, the â530s are adept at producing an extraordinary dynamic range with a sense of magnificence that you didnât know your ears were capable of decoding. For example, the expertly mastered âTeardropâ by Massive Attack was delivered with insanely crisp and clear highs, a deep, solid bass and with the placement of Liz Fraserâs spine-chilling vocals with meticulous precision. My much older reference track, âGolden Brownâ by The Stranglers, was delivered with an equally exciting presentation whilst remaining true to the fidelity of the original recording. Sparknotes.com describes an epiphany as âa sudden, powerful, and often spiritual or life changing realization that a character experiences in an otherwise ordinary moment.â Thatâs what happened to me when I listened to The Belovedâs âThe Sun Risingâ on my â530s. For those new to âshove-right-into-the-ear-canalâ type earphones the â530s may take a few goes at experimenting with the different types and sizes of sleeves supplied in order to achieve the perfect fit necessary for them to perform (no seal = no bass). But once youâve found your âsweet-spotâ you might just find yourself ignoring everybody you know for the foreseeable future or taking your dog out for a walk several hours a day more than heâs used to. |

Comments:You will NOT believe that all of this sound comes out of these earbuds. My wife, who is EXTREMELY hard to please, I've almost given up, put these on and just smiled unbelievably. Her words, "these sound like the big Bose on our stereo. They are that good! Now she wants a pair for her Ipod too.I tried the 310's first, they were very good but a lil bit scratchy. Then I tried the 210's and they just didn't get there at all. If you appreciate good music, loud or not, in your ears, BUY THESE EARPHONES!! If you can afford them, you will not regret it!! |

Comments:I have been a music performer for over 20 years and when it comes to sound quality I consder myself VERY hard to please nad extremely picky. I have been searching for a good pair of in ear earphones for some time now... I own the Shure e4c's, Bose Tri-point IE's, and the Ultimate Ears Super Fi.5 Pro's, and these are BY FAR the best earphones I have ever used. The sound quality is incredible.. crisp highs but never harsh, excellent mids but not overpowering, and smooth, rich bass that is never distorted or muddy. Do not however make the mistake of thinking these headphones are bass-shy (like many of the Shure's are known for).. put on a little Tribe Called Quest or Outkast and these things will rock your skull!! Kudos to the guys at EarphonesSolutions.com in constructing such and informatiove and accessable site and making the purchase process seamless and extremely pleasant. If you are seeking the ultimate experience in in-ear headphone sound quality look no further than the Shure SE530's, and whatever you do I urge you... let the guys at Earphones Solutions take as good care of you as they did me. Cheers! |

Comments:sabastion is bang on many say the bass is a bit overpowering but i think its clean clear punchy and sweet with super clear high detail mids and super sharp highs with a hint of roll off in the very upper frequency range making for superb musical perfection, iem's dont come better as of yet i prefer these to the frankly ugly triple fi's and anything below is just a step down,if you appreciate your music and want the best portable solution for earphones these are the best at the time of this review, roll on them westone 3's success or fail i cant wait to find out if they kick these off the top the triple fi's didnt |
