GREAT BUT NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS COMLY TIPS
By Carson Wen from maple, ontario on October 25, 2011
The shure olive tips are great. I can hear details and highs that the comply tips seem to absorb. They do decompress with a bit force and can be painful for sleeping. They also dont decompress very well in the first place. for westone earphones, they are a bit difficult to put on and remove. Here are some tips that made it easy for me. When i put on the tips, they twist in 3/4 of the way and seem to get stuck there, i put my finger on the hole and push the tip directly into the earpiece, do not use too much force as it isnt needed, but you should hear a click, the earphone sorta pops al the way down the nozzle and in on perfectly. (the pop sound is not the nozzle breaking)
To remove them, in my experience, twisting will get you nowhere. i put my nails in between the earpiece and the tip, and gently pry it. it will come ou7t like 1/3 of the way and then you can twist it off easily. the nozzle is very strong and you can use a little bit of force if needed.

Overall, the olives sound better than the comply tips but are not as comfortable. Isolation i think is good on both olives and comply tips. The olives are definitely worth buying if you dont have them.
Pros:
-good enough comfort
-sound
-last a long time and washable
Cons:
-decompress with force and rather quickly
-some dont compress well

Too Small to Seal the Deal for Me
By Michael from Bolton, MA on June 21, 2011
However, if the size is right for you, I believe the material used for these tips is slightly better than the comply tips; at least for me.
Pros:
comfortable

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Merchant Response:
Try the MEDIUM size. They work great for me and still look and feel quite small.

You can't go wrong with the Shure Olives
By Seth from Hempstead, NY on December 22, 2010
you really can't go wrong with the olives. IMO they give the best sound out of any of the tips shure offers. They are also comfortable and durable.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Nice, but sizing is different compared to the Comply Shorts
By Deb from Redwood City on March 17, 2010
I purchased these based on another review saying these were better than the comply shorts. Unfortunately, these are a little smaller than the comply shorts and don't fit snuggly in my ears. I do like that the foam doesn't seem as porous, so they last a bit longer. Next time, I will go with the mediums.
Pros:
Foam is very comfortable.
Seems to last longer than comply shorts.
Cons:
I thought smalls would be comparable to the comply shorts, but they are even smaller.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Merchant Response:
The MEDIUM PA910 is comparable to the Comply Tips SHORT.

The LARGE PA910 is wider.

The Comply Tips STANDARD is not wider but longer.

Better than CompyTips
By Dylan on November 17, 2007
These are better than the ComplyTips I have been using for 2 years now. The opening is wider and the finish is smoother. Plus the large size is way wider than all the other foam eartips so if you have wide ear canal the large ones are for you. Regardless of size the medium is better than the standard ComplyTips and the small size is better than the short ComplyTips.
