The Best for Me
By Michael from Bolton, MA on June 21, 2011
I purchased and compared a variety of the "olive" tips and comply and silicone. These, for me, gave me the best results for sound isolation. They were similar to the comply tips for comfort. I find it amazing that no matter how you scrunch them up, they always come back to the original shape. Thanks to this site in providing instructions on how to use them.
Pros:
sound isolation
comfort

Better than Stock Comlys for Sound
By Lance from Kaneohe, Hawaii on February 8, 2011
Used these with my UM3x and the sound is much improved (I was using the Standard size Complys). The sizing was a problem for me though. I originally went with the mediums but sound was leaking out. The large size is wider than the mediums (same depth though) but also has more give (squishy) so it fills the ear canal much better. Earphone Solutions was nice enough to send me the large free of charge since the mediums didn't fit me well.

For some reason though the tip in my left ear still feels like it is going to fall out (it never does) and I keep on trying to jam the thing in further. If you have that problem be careful not to push it in too far because I found it compresses the tip at the end against the ear canal and closes off the nozzle (need to pull it back some).
Pros:
Better sound than the stock Complys with Westone Monitors
Cons:
Hard to find the right size at first

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Merchant Response:
Thanks for the excellent feedback Lance!

Good Eartips
By Svetla from New York, New York on July 16, 2010
These are definitely too large for me--I thought they would be the same, or very similar, size to the Complytips but these are definitely bigger. I also think the Complytips are softer than these and less prone to make your ears hurt if you get larger Complytips than the one you need. Otherwise isolation is good and these seem quite durable.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Merchant Response:
The PA910-Large are ideal for those that have tried the other sleeves and still can't get good bass because that would be an indication that the seal is not good in which case the low frequency is what leaks.

To correct that a wider sleeve such as the PA910-Large should help most people with this issue without adding length to the eartips since the PA910 are all the same length but different diameters.

Also keep in mind that you can squeeze them really hard before inserting them but they are definitely not for everyone. Mostly for people with wider and shallow ear canals.

Thanks for the review!

Shure PA910L Large Black Foam Sleeves
By Michael from New England on December 16, 2009
Best fitting foam sleeves by any manufacturer!

Compatible with Shure and Westone earphones and also some others.

Wipe with moist towel to clean.

Must try on the size for best fit - so far, the Medium size sleeves will fit the best for Shure products but if some earpieces have "short" ear stems, like the Shure SE530 or Westone UM3(X), then it's best to use the Large size sleeves to insure proper fit.

Pros:
- Offers the best fit amongst various foam sleeve types!
- Easy to clean!
Cons:
- Somewhat pricey!
- Sleeves get hard in cold weather!
- Magnet for earwax, must clean daily!
- Must try on the sizes for each earpiece to insure proper fit!

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Good Tips
By Wesley from San Mateo, California on May 25, 2009
The fit is shallow so its great for people who do not want a deep fit. The isolation is ok and not as good as other tips. They are very comfortable. They sound signature of my UM3X is darker with these tips.
Pros:
Shallow fit, very comfortable.

Excellent in all respects, i.e. quick delivery, high-quality product and customer service. It's good to have a site to rely on when you need something to keep on practising your favourite hobby.

Great Fit on the Shure SCL4
By fljoe on February 24, 2009
These foam sleeves are a great fit on the Shure SCL4. Trick is to roll them and then insert it into your ear canal and hold for about 10 seconds before letting them settle in. Makes perfect sound isolation.
