Manufactured by the audio accessories giant Shure, these Push to Hear (PTH) earphone accessories are created with a difference. This well engineered device allows you to transport yourself from Beethoven’s "Moonlight Sonata” to the ambient sounds around you.

Are you tired of inserting and removing your earphones to make conversations? No problem. Buy yourself the Shure PTH earphones accessory. Simply push the PTH switch to mute the music and make conversations without removing your earphones.

Activate the VoicePort microphone to amplify all of the surrounding sounds. The Shure Push to Hear Accessory comes with gold-plated connectors to ensure high-quality audio. Use the clothing clip to attach the microphone to yourself. This Shure PTH Accessory includes 1 AAA battery that will last you for a couple of months. The Shure PTH Accessory is included with the Shure SE530-PTH in-ear-monitors. You can also buy it separately and use it with any sound isolating earphone.

This optional accessory works with all Shure E Series models and is also compatible with other brands of earphones.

Perfect for brief conversations at work or when traveling, Shure's PTH is typically sold with the Shure E500 in-ear-monitors but it is also sold separately and can be used with any sound isolating earphones.

I listen to my iPod while I work and had gotten sick of always removing my earphones to speak to people. No more. Now I just mute the music and hear the outside world.

I work at a local newspaper, where I listen to my favorite tunes on my iPod while I'm designing ads on my computer. However, when someone wants to speak to me, I've had to remove my Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 pros in order to hear what it is they're saying. Up until now! What a simple concept, but absolutely brilliant: enable the listener to briefly mute the music and listen to "the outside world" while still retaining the optimum seal & listening experience of the earphones. Money well spent and highly recommended.

By the way, Earphone Solutions' lightning fast delivery & service is second to none!

I bought and used these on a flight last night with my E2C's and they worked great. All the cords can become a hassle if you don't have them wrapped up properly but that's a small price to pay for the convenience of not having to take off your headphones to listen to an announcement.

This works well- just plug it in and it works. I'm using it with etymotic 6's. My only regreat is that its kind of big and heavy and has a long cord. Ihave to use 2 cord wraps to keep the lenth under control. But this thing really works. Service was great, quick delivery
