shure mpa

I cheaped out the first time and bought the griffen smart talk. After 10 days or so the unit stopped working because the cord is flimsy. After receiving my shure I knew that wouldn't be a problem because like with all shure equipment the cord is meant to last forever and is worth every cent. The buttons actually work as well so you can skip forward or backwards easily. If you want to use your own headphones with your iphone don't waist your money on anything else!!
Pros:
sound great, solid construction, everything
Cons:
um....nothing, even the price is ok when you only have to do it once.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Functional if a bit awkward

I have used the MPA-3C for iPhone for a few weeks now. In terms of sound quality inbound and outbound to the phone, I'm very pleased. The cord is a bit on the stiff side, however, so the mic tends to twist around as the cord responds to body movement. Some perturbation to the pickup quality occurs as a result. Also, I find that the clip is a bit wimpy. It doesn't do a particularly good job of keeping the mic in place. Essentially, the cord moves and squirms around in the little channel and can affect how the mic presents itself relative to the front of your body. If you've got to have such an adapter, the Shure unit is about as good as you'll find.
Pros:
Excellent sound quality both speaking and listening.
Cons:
Lack of robust design in terms of the clip. Stiff, squirmy cord and wimpy cord clip and clothing clip.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
better than the original

You see clearly, that shure makes great microphones. The adapter mike, works even better then the original mike of my iphone.
Pros:
clear sound, even if the mike is not in the best position
Cons:
Phonecalls get so pleasant that I spend a lot of money in my telephone bill.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
