GOOD SOUND, IF IT WAS 50$! (everything is based on my opinion and others may have different opinion)

Although i didnt get these from earphonesolutions, i got them from futureshop here in Canada and would like to share my experience.(futureshop is an authorized dealer and i did not get fakes) Apparently, beats by dr dre is the most talked about headphone ever. I hear people talk about how they want it so bad and how its the best, so i decided to buy one without trying it first.(which i regret) It looked good to me, very nice on the picture/box. I opened it and first thing i noticed was how flimsy it was. Lots of noise when shaking it. I put batteries and tried noise cancelling, which sucked. The noise cancelling just doesnt work. It also created an annoying hiss. When i started to play the music, i heard the powerful, extended, bass. The bass impressed me but then the rest of the music came in and i was disappointed. For this price, i was expecting much much more. The sound was just too unnatural and i just dont get how you can use these in studio. the highs were nowhere near good and the mids were unclear. Im sure i would really think these were good if they were 50$ headphones. But they would be overpriced at 100$. Unfortunately, i wasted 300$. The bass was powerful and the highs were sharp and extended, leaving the midrange recessed. After a month of use(barely using it and very careful with it), it broke, the headband just cracked and broke apart after like a combined 2 hours of careful use. I was going to return them long ago but decided i would keep them and maybe give it to a friend who really wanted it. Anyway, these headphones are definitely not the best in pricerange and are actually, in my opinion, not even the best in the 100$ price range. my advice is dont waste your money cause your non audiophile friend who just upgraded from ipod stock earbuds to beats told you to, get some real headphones like sennheisers, shures, or beyer.

-durability issue that you will never have from a brand like sennheiser (who apparently fixes the issue like on their hd 558)
-horrible sound you will not get from sennheisers
-unnatural everything when it comes to soundI would recommend this item to a friend.
