The mini speakers for iPod by Audio-Technica are very small and not powerful or loud, so please keep that in mind if you decide to order them. They are a great solution but not if you are looking for loud output.

They are light and very inexpensive and when folded, they are the size of the iPhone (but 3 times thicker).

If you want to give your ears a rest and don't need much volume, these mini iPod speakers are just great. They work with any device that has an earphone jack such as MP3 players, portable CD players, iPhone, iPod, Shuffle, etc. Also for when you need to have awareness of your surroundings such as at work or whenever you cannot "turn off" the outside world, the Audio-Technica AT-SP21 is a good solution for quiet environment.

NO WAY, JOSE.

I admit, I received these for free when i bought my Westone 1's..

But these things are bordering on useless.. I cringe when i think that someone might pay $25 for them..
If you are in a silent room and position the speakers directed at you, within about a foot or two of your head, and crank up the volume, they might serve a purpose...

But even then, what comes out of the speakers could never be considered any sort of quality sound..

AT should be embarrassed to have their name on these things =D

Pros:

Free. Earphonesolutions was honest and never claimed that these things were decent in any way :)
They don't require a power-source..

Cons:

no volume whatsoever.
no quality whatsoever.
