Excellent sound quality (for the right kinds of music), great calls

Let's be clear: whether you love or hate these earphones will depend on 2 things: 1) the type of music you listen to and 2) How comfortable you are with having earphones that go deep in your ear canals.
On the first point, overall the sound quality these earphones deliver is outstanding. You will hear details in your music that you may never have heard before. But it's a pure, clear, and unenhanced sound - which compared to most modern earphones that artificially punch up the low end makes them sound somewhat anemic. If you listen to music that benefits from low end punch - hip-hop, electronic, and even rock to a certain extent - you may be disappointed. There's no "boom" to be had here. But the clarity makes classical, jazz, acoustic, and vocals really shine - so fans of those genres will find a lot to love. Personally, I would have liked deeper bass range.
The second factor is that these earphones need to go deep into your ear canals - deeper than any other in-ear models that I've had anyway. It was a bit disconcerting at first, but I've gotten used to it. I can definitely see though how people who are sensitive about things going in their ears would be uncomfortable with these earphones. Just something to be aware of.
As a headset, the hf2 is excellent. The noise-isolation means that even in noisy environments (airports, etc) you can hear your calls clearly and I've been told that my voice comes across clear. The single button works consistently with both phone and music player on my Android phone. My only complaint on the headset front is that the mic/button housing is big - way bigger than it needs to be in my opinion. It tends to swing like a pendulum when I'm walking.
Pros:
Sparkling, crystal clear sound
Excellent call quality both ways
Lots of tip options for a great fit
Works with Android
Cons:
Anemic low end not suited for bass heavy music
Large mic/button housing
Goes very deep into ear canal which may bother some peopleI would recommend this item to a friend.
Merchant Response:

I use these headphones on the plane to listen to music and in the car (instead of a blue tooth). They are great for keeping out the noise (sometimes if I want to sleep on the plane, I will use them simply as ear plugs). But this being said, they are not great for running outside since you can't hear your surroundings. Overall, great buy. This is my second pair, since I left the first on a plane. :(
Pros:
eliminate outside noiseCons:
can't use for working outI would recommend this item to a friend.
