Best Earbuds Under $100

Last update February 25th, 2011

"I will never buy headphones over $100..."

The new Shure SE215 is the first high-end earphones under $100 with removable cables. The construction quality is the same as their flagship earphones SE535 which sells for $500. We love the sound of the new SE215 and it was voted the best earphones under $120. The removable cables have a great snapping system which cannot be found on any other brands. With Shure’s 2 Year Warranty, these new models are really hard to beat. In g=fact they were rated the highest among each price range for sound quality, comfort, build quality, fit and bundled accessories. Most of these earbuds, including the new Shure SE215, have dynamic drivers which move air, generating a good dynamic sound, specially in the lows. If you have an iPhone you can purchase the iPhone version of the SE215 which includes the Apple 3 Button Control and microphone so you can take calls using your Shure SE215, skip music forward, backward, pause, playback, etc. The flush fit makes it a great option for sleeping as well or under a motorcycle helmet (check with local authorities if this is legal in you area).

Because they sit right outside the ear canal and have dynamic drivers, ear buds do not require a good seal in order to deliver the sound they are supposed to. The sound quality of earbud headphones is not on par with the higher-end earbud headphones, but they can be a great back up earphone at an affordable price. The brands and models listed here have also proved to have good durability

So here it is, from the high-end in-ear specialists at Earphone Solutions, the Best Earbuds Under 100 in the market. Enjoy our best earbud headphones ranking!

Best Earbuds

Are you still spending twenty dollars or less on earbuds? Well, when it comes to durability and sound quality, you're getting what you pay for. If you find that you're replacing your earbuds frequently, maybe it’s time to upgrade.

For clarity, sound quality and improved comfort, a pair of high-end earbuds is a great way to treat yourself.

Earbuds are, of course, another name for in-ear earphones, a lightweight and space-saving alternative to over-the-ear stereo headphones. Earphone Solutions is your online home for high quality earbuds from some of the best brands in personal audio.

With our huge earbud selection of models and brands, figuring out what earbuds to choose can be a daunting task. Fortunately, our staff helps you choose the best earbuds for your lifestyle – earbuds for different genres of music and earbuds for different activities, from running to swimming to riding the train home.

If you're into high-impact athletics, your earbuds have to be durable in addition to sounding great, and have to stand up to sweat, wind and rain, not just normal wear and tear. Sounds like you? Check out best headphones for running and work out.

Do you listen to music while you fall asleep? Whether your significant other demands absolute silence (or snores to wake the dead) or you need to sleep on a crowded airplane, noise-canceling earbuds are a great way to listen to what you want while blocking out the rest of the world. We recommend a flush-fitting pair of earbuds like the SE215 that won’t poke or prod you when you roll over in the middle of the night. Furthermore, Shure earbuds cancel out up to 44 dB, so you can wear them knowing that incidental noise won’t bother you, but that your alarm clock (weighing in at around 80 dB) still will.

Do you love audiobooks and podcasts? When it comes to spoken word audio, you want strong mid-range. And sound isolation is also important, to ensure that you hear every word. We recommend the Shure SE315 for good detail in the mid and high ranges and well-defined lows. This pair of earbuds is all about quality over quantity.

Any pair of earbuds that you purchase at Earphone Solutions comes with the original manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring that your high-end earbuds will last for years. Take a look at our selection, check out our detailed user reviews and find the perfect pair of earbuds for you.

Listed here, in order our staff preference, the best earbud headphones under $100

So here we gathered the best affordable earbud headphones that will give you a big performance increase without breaking the Bank. After testing many models and after measuring comfort, fit, sound quality, and best performance for the money, we eliminated many other brands and models. Ear Bud headphones have become much more popular with the launch and increasing sales of the then revolutionary iPod. Now earbud headphones sell more than full size headphones. Before you could only buy poor performance earbuds at Best Buy, Target and Wal Mart. You would be lucky if they lasted a month or two.

Now, high-end audio manufacturers are offering high performance ear bud headphones that will outperform some of the most expensive full size headphones available. The proximity of these earbud drivers to the ear canal, allow superior sound quality at lower volumes, due to their added sound isolation benefit.
