I've used these tips on all my buds for the last 5 years. Large is the only proper fit for me and they work great. The only buds I've had problems with are my new Shure SE215 which don't seal properly. Otherwise, they're comfortable and really increase sound quality. Love them! Pros: Comfortable Comes in large Lasts long (1 pair can last me a year if I wash them) Color is black so they never look dirty Cons: Doesn't seem to work with my SE215's, but this is a per-user type situation.

It made a average pair of earphones into the most comfortable pair of earphones i have ever owned. Also they made them louder by sealing them into my ear canal. I guess my ears are weird cause i have never found a pair that fit me before. Pros: Everything! Cons: Nothing!

These earbuds work well initially in dry ears - make sure to squeeze them thoroughly and give them a minute to expand before begging a physical workout. They lose their elasticity - and thus their expandability and ability to seal a little faster than I would like. This may be because I use them in situations where I perspire and they get damp. Pros: Initially work very well if inside of ear is dry Cons: Lose expandability within a month when constantly exposed to perspiration. A little pricey

After reading so many raves reviews I had high hopes for the comply tips. I do think they sound better. On my Klipsch S-4, they improve the highs and actually reduce the bass a bit from the OEM silicone tips. This is overall a very positive thing, because I think the S-4 are too bass-y otherwise. I can leave my EQ to "Off" and all is well. What is a major drawback IMO is that it is harder to get a good seal with these. I have the large, and wish they were bigger. For my applications, I want a complete seal, and I am used to having plugs in my ears all day. I want it to be as sound-proof as possible and I think you get a better (albeit still weak) seal with the silicone with less fussing. Yes, I can get the complys to seal better, but only if I REALLY jam them in there, and then they do make my ears a little sore. I really wish they were about 40% larger and then they would block well, still be soft and comfortable, and I wouldn't need to shove them in so far. For a casual user I am not sure they are worth it. Pros: Sound improvement Cons: Size and seal

These tips really brought to life my single driver m-audio IE-10's. Really made noise canceling a premium. I really thought I was listening to dual driver headphones!! Made the highs more crisp and the lows more in my ear. Love these!! Pros: These tips stay in place for a long period of time. Comfortable. Perfect for the micd acoustic drum player. I would have rated these with five stars but I didn't because when you smile real big it opens the ear canal slightly and the foam doesn't have enough time to "catch up" with that. Other than that this is a great quality product. I will buy again!! Cons:

Comply tips are great for better blocking of noise and extended wear. I like the wax guard as well. Wish Comply had more sizes and they lasted a bit longer--the black color of the new Comply tips seems to help this since any stains were otherwise obvious on the gray ones. The wax guard should also help because it makes the tip a bit sturdier and minimizes the ripping at the top. I have never tried the Shure olive tips so cannot compare the two. Pros: Better noise blocking Comfortable for long wear Cons:

I'll echo the other reviewers who talk about the comfort. It's almost like they're not even there -- but the sound is so good that you know they are. They also help block out other sounds even better. I used the first set for about 7 weeks. I'm curious how long others use them. I wear the earphones 6+ hours each day. The only downside is the cost. I got these as replacements for my M-Audio IE-10s (which are very similar to the Studio3s). These are fantastic upgrades. The earbuds no longer fall out anymore and you can't even feel them. I got over the price issue because if your spending $100+ on earphones then the $2 a pair for tips isn't a big deal to me. Pros: Cons:

Well, these do provide a great comfortable seal. But you've already heard the 2 cons before. These things are *very* absorbent. And, there's no dancing around the price. I'll have to go back and forth between these and the stock foam buds before I decide if I should come back for more. Either way, I'm glad I at least tried 'em. Pros: Cons:

I compared these to the silicone tips provided and for my ears, these are my first choice. I always thought the Comply Tips would provided superior isolation because they are basically made from the same material I used as hearing protection while firing various weapons in the Marine Corps. Very easy to get a great seal. Just smash the entire tip, insert in the ear canal and wait for the foam to expand. That's it !! I have been able to chew gum, talk and even yawn without breaking the seal. They do tend to collect dirt and ear wax and there is no real way to clean them. But who cares, we should not be sharing earbuds anyway right? Get an extra set of these and standby to enjoy music the way is was meant to be. Pros: Cons:

Several months back, around September of 2007, I left a review of, and how to put Comply foam tip on UE earphones in this website under the original P model (it's still there). Ever since, I had wished that either UE would approach and work with Hearing Component Co. and have them make the Comply foam tips fitting UE nozzles size, or Hearing Component would work with UE providing the Comply foam tips with UE products. And finally my wish came true!!! Not only Comply foam tips make for UE earphones, they also make to fit a whole bunch of different earphones makers. WOW!!! --- This has made me want to buy other earphones out there that can fit all of new Comply foam tips. It has always been my reluctance to buy any earphones that cannot fit either Comply foam tips or Shure black foam tips....those are all 2 phone tips I ever use. As soon as I (accidentally) found out that Comply foam tips make different sizes to fit different earphones manufacturers, esp. for UE, I immediately ordered the Comply foam tips T500, and I've been using it for a week now, and let me tell you that it is heaven!!!!! (If that is what heaven is!) It's much much better than my own homemade method, it sounds much better, stay tight in the ears better, much more comfortable, and it looks much much better......Simply put - It's so so sweet!!! And as soon as I saw Earphonesolutions.com carry new variety of Comply foam tips. I, without second thoughts or any hesitation, spread the good words for Comply foam tips and for the excellent Earphonesolutions.com. (Anytime and everytime I have a chance to spread the good words for these three excellent companies - Earphonesolutions.com, Ultimate Ears, & Comply foam tips, I've never step back, ever!) Believe me, buy them, and you will have no regrets whatsoever, your listening experience will be heighten to the maximum that you would not use other kinds of phone tips anymore. You will love and enjoy much more of your UE earphones, and other earphones that you can fit Comply tips onto them. It's quite expensive comparing to other kinds or all kinds of phone tips, but it worths the money, way worth it.......you get what you pay for!!! In this case, you pay for the best (foam tips), and that's what you will get - the best!!! Your ears and your musical taste bud will scream back to you "thank you, thank you, thank you". Happy listening, folks! And hat off to Hearing Component for Comply foam tips for UE and other earphones. Pros: Cons:
