On January 27th Apple announced their newest product: the iPad. The iPad features a touchscreen display and I think this will be the utmost music listening device. Of course we don't know anything about the sound quality yet. It will come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, flash storage to accommodate any audiophile's music library.
It should also push the Kindle many "generations" down. With the new multi-touch interface, you will be able to flip through pages of a book, newspaper or rich graphic magazines like you do with their paper versions.
The iPad should also become the best video player for travelers. Imagine not having to deal with the passenger in front of you cramping on your laptop when he/she decides to take a nap and recline their seat. In my opinion, the absence of a physical keyboard will bring more advantages than cons.
The iPad is .5 inches thin, 1.5 pounds -- 9.7 inch IPS display. We are planning to get the iPad for testing all the
high-end in-ear earphones we carry (as well as our
sub-100 earbud models) and see how they perform. We will also test some headphones with the iPad.
