Do not work for me
By Greg from Walnut Creek, CA on September 1, 2011
I have had my pair of Jays for a month. I am very disappointed. Poor fit, no bass (because of the poor fit). Uncomfortable to boot. They get two stars for the excellent cord, but otherwise I could do just as well picking something off the shelf at Target (indeed, my last buds from Sony were superior to these). At this point I am wondering how much I need to spend for a decent pair of buds. I have spent as much as $150 to no avail at this point.
Pros:
Cord
Cons:
Fit
Bass response
Great Earphones for the price
By Howieman from Texas on July 29, 2011
I was looking for 3 way earbuds and found these for a great price. They are very comfortable and bass response is clean.
Pros:
Comfortable and clean, clear sound.
Cons:
The case is difficult to use, worry about pinching the cord when closing.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Beats the rest!
By Silverback from Yonkers, New York on June 28, 2011
First off, I'm not a NEWBIE when it comes to Headphones (wrap a rounds or in ear) Koss, Ultimate Ears, Bose(triPort IE) Quiet Comfort 2, Westone, Etymotics, just to mention a few. I needed something for the gym and without a doubt the a-Jays are the ****! The sound, The Bass, The separation, The Freq. Response, The NO tangle cord, it's all there, fit the right size ear piece, thread the cord INSIDE (since the flat cord is heavier than the standard cord) your work out shirt and have at it. AND the price, did I mention THE PRICE!!! SATISFIED, I am.
ps. bought my son a pair of TWO's(with out case) so he doesn't have to borrow mine.

cannot keep far enough in my ear for decent sound quality
By Jan Carberry from Sydney on April 10, 2011
I tried using them walking to work for two days, only way I could have them not sound tinny was to keep my fingers on them pushing in as far as I could...take my hand away and on a number of occasions one would fall out. Needles to add I do not use them anymore and have gone back to the old fashioned ear-bud format 0 in-ear certainly doesn't work for me.
Cord is great, doesn't tangle.
Merchant Response:
Please make sure you try all the eartips included. You need to "match" your ear canal with a set of eartips so that you can get the seal and therefore the bass.
Thank you.
Ajays three – the complete package
By Pamela from Greenwich, CT on March 21, 2011
I travel a lot on business. The a-JAYS three provides a great overall package. It was jam-packed with travel accessories, including an airplane adapter and travel case. The sound balance was excellent. The bass was incredible. To my ear, it was better than the much more expensive Diddy Beats I had. I really appreciate the flat cable, keeping me tangle-free. And these earphones were really comfortable, even over longer periods of time. I definitely recommend them.
Pros:
Sound balance
Bass performance
Flat cable
Extra accessories
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Outstanding sound & design for the price
By Michael from Los Angeles on March 17, 2011
The a-Jays three deliver a great thumping bass, but still with balanced sound for most other music. The design is sleek & modern (what else would you expect from Sweden, right?). It came with five sets of ear tips, so the fit was perfect. Overall a great value for the money – highly recommended.
Pros:
Sound
Fit
Flat cable

A-Jays Three
By Rob M from St Joseph, Illinois on December 1, 2010
The styling of these is definitely on the cool side, but the only real benefit to them in the flat cable. I travel often, and always bring earphones with me. Pulling them from the backpack and untangling the cable is always the major battle that immediately ensues. Not with these, but unfortunately, that's really the only area that these shine, unless you like heavy bass that really ends up muddling out the mids and highs if the volume is up.
Have tried all sets of ear inserts and nothing provides a truly comfortable fit, and forget working out wearing these, they want to work their way out all the time. A 40 minute workout on the treadmill or elliptical is nothing short of a battle constantly pushing these back in your ears.
I think, minus some extra packaging and a few added thrown-in accessories, these earphones can be had for around $30 - and in the end, that's all they really are, is $30 earphones, and that is what they sound like. So, unfortunately, nothing special here (or hear). These don't even sound as good as my Creative Labs EP-830 which came packaged with my C.L Zen X-Fi.
Pros:
Flat cable, can't get tangled.
Cons:
Poor fit, with any of the included inserts.
Heavy, muddled bass.
Really do sound like a low-end earphone dressed up in pretty packaging.
Merchant Response:
Thanks Rob for the feedback. These are a good option for not so active lifestyle because flat cables are usually heavier than non-flat cables. For treadmill and such you should really try the Westone 1:
