They may be small but they have a BIG Sound. I love the Denon AH C252K Earbuds. I especially like have extra length. They are comfortable and did I say Great sound. I am planning to get another pair plus check out the site and see what else is available.
Pros:
Great sound
The extra Length of the cordI would recommend this item to a friend.
Very good for the price!
By Dan from Drummondville, Canada on February 25, 2010

I convinced the guy who sold me my plasma TV to give me a set of these. I loved them. unfortunately, as one other reviewer said, the connector let go on me, after about a year of use. I tried 2 other sets. One Sony priced int he same range. They sounded like tin cans so I returned them. I also tried a set of more expensive Skullcandy after I read positive reviews and they just do not compare.
Back to back comparison showed that the inexpensive Denons sound far better, with more bass and ambiance (Can I say this?) than either the Sony or Skullcandy sets.
I just wish they would have put a level controller on the cord. Small potentiometers arent really that expensive.
I wholeheartedly recommend these for people on a budget.
Pros:
Very good sound at reasonable price (isnt this the most important factor?)
Fairly comfortable.
3 sises of silicon "inserts"Cons:
Durability (connector just stopped working)
No volume control on the cord.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
NOT FOR MY EARS
By Bill from New City, NY on February 13, 2010

I tried all sizes of earbuds and none were able to stay in my ears unlees totally still. When in my ears the sound was superior. I have reverted back to over the ear earphones.
Pros:
Sound when buds stayed in my ear.Cons:
Buds did not stay in my earsExcellent Earbuds

I bought these earbuds for listening to talk radio while falling asleep, so comfort is my main objective. I also purchased an expensive pair of Westone 1 earbuds for comparison because I had a pair of those for about a year before they quit working, and they were extremely comfortable. These Denon earbuds have a soft plastic insert which is nearly as comfortable as the high quality foam inserts in the Westone. Sound quality seems the same to me. The wire is stiff and may be a cause of slight discomfort if I accidentally lay on it, but the low price ($35 vs $100+) is worth it. If these earbuds last a year or more, I will buy another pair of them and avoid the expensive ones.
Pros:
inexpensive
comfortable
excellent sound qualityCons:
stiff wireI would recommend this item to a friend.
good for running and great sound!
By Will R. from Daytona Beach, Florida on December 31, 2009

These earphones are WAAY better than my skull candy phones. I compared them side by side and the Denon phones were far better, just make sure when your using them to use the correct buds for your ears (it comes with 3 differnt sizes) because when I tried different sizes in greatly changed the sound. (I use the middle size) The Denon would get 5 stars if the cord was more durable.
As for use, When I run these do not, i repeat DO NOT fall out of my ears! this was the main reason i switched from my skull candy and I couldn't be more satisfied. Great headphones for the price.
In conclusion: The sound is like a $100 set or phones, but the cord and earbuds feel like a $30 set of phones. Overall the phones are excellent for the money!
Pros:
great fit (with correct size bud)
nice long cord
good sound
great fit (doesnt fall out)Cons:
cord flimsy
ear buds flimsy
can't think of anything else :)I would recommend this item to a friend.
wish i did not buy them nothing but crap
By Hacksaw DJ from Ma on December 19, 2009

Well I bought them thinking they should be good, they stink sound like a 1960 am car radio crap. I ended using the ones that came with the i pod I well never buy another pair wish i could send them bk. Dont buy them.
Pros:
noneCons:
no bass no mids Merchant Response:
You need to make sure you get a good seal between the ear canal wall and the eartips in order to get good bass. That can only be accomplished by trying the different eartips and making sure they are the correct size for your ear anatomy. This may sound like a lot of trouble but it's a one time process that should not take more than a couple of days of trying.Denon AH-C252K

I bought these for my kids 'cuz they were said to be the best inexpensive earphones. They may be, but they sound quite shrill and harsh to my ears. I'd save and spend more for better sound
Pros:
cheap, in-ear for good sound isolation.Cons:
shrill and harshThe Denon AH-C252K Earbuds, WOW

If your still using the ear phones that came with your Mp3 player, no matter who the manufacturer of the Mp3 player was, Apple, Sansa Sandisk, Sony, Philips or a host of other countries, the first thing you need to do before you download any music to it is throw out the cheesy headphones and get yourself some real headphones or earbuds. And you don't have to spend a fortune to get a great pair that will not only stay in your ear when your running or working out, but also a pair that will allow you to hear things in the music you have never heard before.
Now when it comes to price, you can spend over $300 on a set that utilize noise cancellation. these types will block out up to 85% of background noise. In other words, with a pair like this type, if your wearing them while you mow your yard, be sure and pull one out of your rear ever now and then to make sure the mower is still running otherwise your neighbors will thank your pretty foolish mowing with out starting the mower first. On the opposite end of the spectrum, you have the Denon AH-252K Earbuds which are a fantastic bargain. For $29.99 you get a pair of earbuds that fit into the ear canal thus blocking out about 20-25% of all background noise. They come with three different size soft silicone buds for a great fit. After you comfortably get them in your ear with the best fitting earbud, then turn on your Mp3 player and get ready for some of the most incredible sound you have ever heard. If you though your favorite song sounded good with the cheapo earphones that came with the Mp3 player, you will now hear some of the best music you have ever heard an Mp3 player ever produce. The highs are smooth and unstrained. The mid range is equally as good. The bass will floor you. You will not believe that kind of bass can come out of such a small speaker. And you get all this for $30 plus shipping. The only set back is the cord. Instead of making them with a short, 22 inch cord with a supplied extension, Denon in order to keep the cost down just put on a 30" cord but did include a gold plated plug with a 80 degree bend. Denon makes another pair like these with muck better cord and extension, but be prepared to pay at least another $30-$40 dollars. Thats what the AH-352K and the AH-452K costs but the sound is no better. Oh and did I mention all three come with a small felt bag to put them and the extra silicone buds. However, if you want a great set of Earbuds but don;t want to spend a fortune, buy the Denon AH-252K's. You won't regret it for one single day. Grab you phone and order a set today.
Pros:
Great Highs, mid-range, and fantastic bass from such a small set of Earbuds. Comfortable on the ear canal and very soft silicone buds. Price, price, and did I mention Price? Nice little felt carrying bag. 2 year warranty instead of the normal 1 year warranty. Excellent service. Cons:
Cord is too long, would have preferred a shorter cord with an extensionI would recommend this item to a friend.

You get what you pay for
By Steve from SoCal on July 19, 2009

While the sound was OK (especially for $30), the connector got hinky after a few days and had to be held in place to work. It progressed to the point that it required kung-fu grip to keep sound going, then it totally died. They were so cheap that I didn't bother returning them but just chucked them instead.
If you're looking for an inexpensive pair of phones, save your shekels for a pair of Westone UM1's, which IMHO give you the most bang-for-the-buck.
Pros:
Good sound and comfort for the priceCons:
Connector broke after a weekMerchant Response:
Dear Steve, We apologize for that inconvenience. You have 1 year warranty from Denon when you have an invoice from Earphone Solutions and your defective earphones will be replaced at no charge. By Nick from NRH, TX on July 14, 2009

Throw away those foam padded things you get with your MP3 device and get some real earbuds so you can actually hear how the music is supposed to sound. These buds are just what I was looking for and in my price range. Actually, I thought I should be able to find earbuds that sound good and were $30 or under. Thanks to Earphone Solutions I did. It was at my max. price limit but I have no regrets. I also needed an earbud that fit properly so that when I went running they wouldn't fall out. No problem with these. I get a perfect snug fit.
Next, the sound. You want bass - you got it. NIce and deep. Not fat and flabby sounding like with the cheapies. The highs are nice and smooth and not irritating. I can listen to these for hours without getting a headache. Do yourself a favor and get some buds you can listen to that are up to the task no matter the price of the source device you are using.
One warning: Don't be put off by the sound when you first try them. These babies need atleast 10 hrs. break-in time before the sound smoothes out.
Pros:
Good snug fit.
Good sound.
Good price.Cons:
None.

I can't believe I waited so long to replace the ear phones that came with my ipod. They kept falling out whenever I used them but these new Denon Earbuds stay right in place no matter what I'm doing, even if they get tugged on a little. The sound quality is superb and all outside noise is also blocked out. Excellent!!!
Pros:
stay in ears
block outside noise
sound great
